COVID-19 Statement

The safety of our guests and employees is of paramount importance to us. As Owners and Management, we will do everything that we can to ensure the safety of our teams and that our guests have a safe and pleasant stay.

The following have been implemented in all our Riata Inn properties and will with an admittedly heightened sense of urgency continue to maintain our practices.

  • We are closely monitoring updates from the CDC and following at a minimum its recommendations, including but not limited to, sanitizing and disinfecting procedures.
  • We will continue to evolve our responses in accordance with local and national health authority recommendations.
  • Increased cleaning protocols are in place, to include more frequent wiping and disinfecting of touch points, such as door handles, doorknobs, handrails, counters, light switches, restroom doors and sinks.
  • We have ensured that hand sanitizer is placed at the lobby counter and are maintaining the required distance.

Management is reinforcing standard employee health practices, including sending employees home and/or encouraging employees to stay home if they are sick or demonstrate health symptoms that could impact fellow colleagues or guests.

We will continue to participate in webinars and updates from WHO and CDC to stay abreast of new practices, protocols and guidance and to provide ongoing training for staff regarding best practices to provide a safe and healthy environment.
